Hello everyone, A quick one today as it was a very busy day in overall. Disclaimer: no April Fools jokes here!
Not too many formal landings as we are all still working on OTA-10. Today we had a notable release of android and android-tools for support of the new adb version (for target and host taken from Android 5.1.1). We released all the device tarball bits earlier, followed by a new ubuntu-device-flash in the phablet and SDK PPAs [1] for hosts not running the latest desktop series. Once OTA-10 is released be sure to use the latest ubuntu-device-flash either from the xenial archive or from the aforementioned PPAs. Besides that we had quite a lot of things going on around language packs. The end result is: the new VPN parts should be translated with the next image (and, thanks to that, also in OTA-10). Phew. Expect some news on a possible release date for this update on Monday. Have a great weekend!
