I mean, that's how I do it, and it works fine for me (actually scp but
anyways). Thing is, I'm trying to find a solution for my wife here :)
how about setting up an sshfs mount for her then and have shotwell use that
by default ?
(i have a "connect to server" bookmark in nautilus for each of my devices
... if shotwell knows gvfs you could do it that way, if not just have
something in fstab that allows user mounting of the sshfs connection)
