Hello everyone, Things are moving slowly forward, with a bugfix release of webbrowser-app (and a translation template update) and a new ubuntu-ui-toolkit mostly with bugfixes landing in the overlay today.
In the meantime, xenial went in Feature Freeze. From the touch landing perspective nothing should really change as dual-landings in the CI Train are targeting the stable-phone-overlay for both series as already announced earlier. Once Y is open we will do a batch copy-package to make sure the latest series is up-to-date. That being said, our devel-proposed images are anyway broken right now (and even failing to build) - we will be putting priority on this ASAP, starting off with making them buildable again. Still, our main focus stays on stable and the vivid base until we do a baseline switch. Today we also re-enabled the landing-team-changes+1 mailing list for the xenial-overlay landings for anyone interested in changes e-mails [1]. Another side note: we might start looking into doing some clean-up in deprecated stable channels on system-image. Be sure to use the right channels [2] for your devices to have your system always up-to-date with latest stable OTAs - e.g. bq-aquaris.en for BQ and meizu.en for Meizu devices. Cheers!
