Hello everyone, A quick update e-mail today. We had some announcements sent out today - be sure to check their contents to see if you would be affected.
There were also some questions about the recent unity8 performance regressions on the mailing-list. The current situation is that, as some know, there is a 'partial' solution/workaround for some of the issues, but the real regression is still being investigated. The Mir developers are on it. Once we have something that fixes at least more of the problems (the partial one is just not enough), we'll see if it's still possible to do a hotfix update with it. It all depends on the timing and the nature of the final fix. Besides all that, today we finally fixed all issues with devel-proposed image builds as the last fix Friday was not enough (more issues were hidden beneath it).
