Hello everyone, Things moving rather slowly today in the landing world. A new qtorganizer5-eds (saving all day events in UTC time format to avoid problems in QML-converting) and a new ubuntu-touch-session (OBEX object push plugin support). The bigger OTA-11 silos are staged for later this week - the new mir (silo 19) with some of the mentioned performance improvements being one of them.
Developers please remember that this week (on Friday) is string freeze, meaning: no landings that have changes/additions to user-visible strings will be accepted afterwards until release. This is for translators to have enough time to prepare translations for the nearing OTA. This time we'll have semi-automated checks in place to make sure there are no serious regressions in language packs. Also for now, even though yakkety is already in theory open for landings, dual landings will target xenial and vivid overlays until we're able to perform triple-landings. This will be a very unique situation since we will have to support three different series for a while (until the switch to xenial is done). More on this when all tools are set-up in place. * What landed in our images: http://people.canonical.com/~lzemczak/landing-team/ubuntu-touch #319 rc-proposed/krillin - http://people.canonical.com/~lzemczak/landing-team/ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/bq-aquaris.en/krillin/319.commitlog #313 rc-proposed/vegetahd - http://people.canonical.com/~lzemczak/landing-team/ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/bq-aquaris.en/vegetahd/313.commitlog #311 rc-proposed/arale - http://people.canonical.com/~lzemczak/landing-team/ubuntu-touch/rc-proposed/meizu.en/arale/311.commitlog * Some useful documentation: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LandingTeam https://wiki.ubuntu.com/citrain/RTMLandingApproaches https://wiki.ubuntu.com/citrain/LandingProcess https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LandingTeam/Smoketesting https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LandingTeam/ReleaseSchedule [1] http://developer.ubuntu.com/start/ubuntu-for-devices/image-channels/ https://requests.ci-train.ubuntu.com/ https://trello.com/b/AE3swczu/silo-testing http://people.canonical.com/~lzemczak/issues/ https://lists.launchpad.net/landing-team-changes/ * Blocking issues (stable): ** Ubuntu-emulator: Crash in new welcome wizard / browser https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/phablet-tools/+bug/1565685 -> Ready in a silo * Blocking issues (devel): ** devel-proposed - android lxc container fails to start https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1551150 * Issues in need of attention: ** Manually installed apps removed by new system image https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1558032 Best regards, -- Łukasz 'sil2100' Zemczak Foundations Team [email protected] www.canonical.com -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone Post to : [email protected] Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-phone More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
