Hello everyone, It seems my previous status update had an invalid date strapped to it - apologies for that!
Much more movement today, with a lot more staged to land soon. For now we had a new geonames with translation-support for city/country names, a bugfix for messaging-app and address-book-app (vcard preview header), a new sync-monitor, new account-polld (created the gcalendar plugin), the mir 0.22 stack with multiple regression, bug and performance fixes, a new qtlocation and finally a share-link fix for webbrowse-app. In the nearest days we'll also have the wireless display-related silos landing which is a big important feature-set we hope to release soon. Let's see if all will be ready in time. In the meantime we also prepared and deployed an OTA-10-based update for the future turbo devices that should be arriving to users in a while. This took longer as we had some device-specific regressions that had to be resolved first. Anyway, be sure to upgrade once you get those booting. Developers, please remember that tomorrow is String Freeze and, next week, Final Freeze for OTA-11! Also next week we have the Ubuntu Online Summit. There are already a few good convergence-related sessions planned so be sure to tune in! Phew. And finally: there will be no daily e-mails for the nearest few days as I will be on leave formally until Wednesday.
