Hello everyone, OTA-11 work continues! As mentioned last week, we have a slight delay as the current images have too many blocking regressions. Our developers are tracking those as we speak, but we expect tomorrow evening as the earliest when we could officially have our first release candidate. It's still too early to estimate how this will effect the release date though. All this also means we have not snapshotted the image and all landings are targeting OTA-11.
Things seemed to complicate themselves this week as we also had a small upgrade-related issue after key rotation on system-image, but things got fixed yesterday and everything is ready to go. With the nearest frieza/cooler custom tarball our tablets will also be joining the BQ warranty system - which all other non-Ubuntu BQ devices are already using. More details can be found in the related bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/avila/+bug/1579121 QA also took a quick look at the recently prepared OTA-10.1 emulator images and we got green light for promotion to stable. We will do the image copies tomorrow as today is already a bit late (late copies are risky), but this will essentially mean we'll finally have new emulator images in stable since November (yes, it's been so long..!).
