Hello! Yes, we are now aware of this issue and trying to resolve it. Quick explanation of what's going on: basically the issues you are seeing are caused by the image builder pulling in a very very old powerd version instead of the new one. The reason for that is we reverted repowerd by removing it from the overlay, which seemed to introduce some confusion in launchpad as it was also providing a virtual powerd package. This made launchpad not see the 'real' powerd we have in the overlay (as it thought it got removed along with the repowerd source).
Once we get this resolved, we'll build a new image. This should fix power-related issues. I'll send out an official announcement shortly.
