Normally you do not specify the encryption in the client device (i.e. the phone). The client device will use whatever encryption is dictated by the access point. In instructions they will tell you whether it is the old TKIP or the new AES in order to help you figure out why the connection cannot be established. The phone supports AES (in WPA2), so if you have trouble, it probably is something else.
