Hello everyone! As already announced on UTC morning, we have finally released OTA-13 for all of our main devices. Update phasing is nearing 100% so hopefully soon all of our users should receive the newest release. The emulator issues have still not been properly investigated [1], but we'll try to follow up on that as soon as possible and proceed with promotion there as well. We're also looking into the reports of strange device behavior after update installation.
There were some questions regarding the new framework added in OTA-13. We have asked the SDK team to provide an API overview here as well and share it for everyone to know what are the exact changes introduced - but in overall in this case the new framework was more of a formality as we thought that we will need it during some of our core-app feature development. But generally it's just safe to target the latest available framework in the stable images in any case.
