hey there!
i had a similiar issue. have you tired the --bootsrap parameter? if that still won't work,
i'm afraid you have to wipe the device with the --wipe parameter.
i'm just guessing but thats how i resolve this issues.
it's quick and at least it worked for me. you can backup your files via owncloud sync.
