Individual webapps have a mechanism to override the user agent string, so a quick and easy "fix" is to create a webapp with a suitable user agent override for your favourite website. Otherwise a bug report at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/webbrowser-app/+filebug is welcome, we can add overrides to the browser too.
