I originally thought that this was a USA only bug because of the
Cellular Band differences, but it looks like it affects people
everywhere.

Title:
  Mobile network denied

Status in indicator-network package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in ofono package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
Device: Running Ubuntu 15.04 (OTA-13-rc) on the Meizu Pro 5.

Description of problem: When I power on the phone, it connects to my
mobile network for a brief period of time. I can send/receive SMS
texts and make phone calls. After a few minutes though the mobile
connection drops and the mobile status in the pull-down panel shows
"Denied". It is then no longer possible to place calls or send/receive
  SMS texts.

This issue started happening immediately following the upgrade from
Ubuntu 15.04 (r-14) to the new OTA-13-rc upgrade which became
available at the start of September.

I have another phone running Android on the same network which is
  running smoothly, no connection issues.

I suspect this is more than an indication issue, from what I've read
the dropped mobile connection may be a software/firmware problem, but
I haven't been able to find a location/project more suitable where
this bug can be filed. My apologies.

My phone's syslog file is downloadable from the link below. The
problem occurs on September 9th between 19:00 and 20:00.
