Dear PowerPC users,

With UDS-r coming up, and me planning to attend, I'm hoping to gather some
ideas and focus for some blueprints in the "Cloud & Server" and "Hardware"
tracks.

Some initial plans:

* qemu and libvirt being fully embraced on Power architecture for KVM enabled
CPUs

* Cloud components becoming architecture aware (my experience is that they pay
little attention to the underlying architecture, which may be important in most
all use cases).

* Kernel flavors for new Power architectures (notably, Freescale 32-bit and
64-bit SoCs).

* Power Kernel maintenance plans: As of now, the kernel team has little
interest in maintaining Power kernels outside of the status-quo. Possible
proposal includes breaking Power kernels out of the main-line packaging to
allow more freedom for enablement.

* non-OpenFirmware boot loader options. Many new Power systems do not have a
standard OpenFirmware and will need to define an ideal way to handle them. May
include discussions for grub2 to support these systems, or leaving the boot
loader to the actual hardware (as is the case in some actual systems).

Shoot me anything else and comment on the ones I've brought up for discussion.

Thanks!
