All, I am curious where to begin. I am a QA engineer for a company doing credit decisioning in Montana. My experience lies primarily in criteria/attribute coding, but do have quite a deal of GUI testing under my belt. I am relatively new to Python, but can stumble my way through quite well. I do some webmaster stuff (CSS/HTML with some PHP) on two blogs I author and maintain...but I am a mathematician by education. I love Ubuntu, and have a strong desire to get into the community and help where I can.
I haven't had a desktop machine at home for years, but I currently have two notebooks and a netbook running Karmic. I need one of the notebooks (stock Dell Studio 15) stable, but by all means could dedicate my older Dell (Inspiron 9300) and/or my netbook (Dell Mini 9) to a full time testing machine. Any guidance would be terrific. Again, I'm excited to be involved. Thanks for the time... Joe -- _
