BTW, if your curious, there's a new xstack, secure boot, and new kernel all coming in on these images to precise. Lots of stuff to play with :-)

Any remaining uploads must be critical for the point release. If you have any doubt, consult with me or Adam Conrad on #ubuntu-release. The focus should now be on completing SRU verification (http://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-archive/pending-sru.html) and other manual and automated testing, especially of the major hardware enablement work (enablement kernel, enablement X.org stack, UEFI Secure Boot). Early next week I will start putting together updated release notes, and will welcome assistance from product leads. A rough timeline from here is as follows: Now Images built from -proposed; smoke testing; find and fix blockers; move verified fixes to -updates. Accepting uploads into -proposed requires signoff from Colin or Adam. Between 2013-02-01 and 2013-02-07, as appropriate Start building images from -updates rather than -proposed. 2013-02-07 Most changes should now be verified and in -updates. Build candidate images and run at least all mandatory tests. Images respun only on demand with signoff from Colin or Adam. 2013-02-14 Release! Thanks for your assistance, -- Colin Watson (for the Ubuntu release team) [[email protected]]
