Raghav, wonderful to meet you! Glad your wanting to help be a part of ubuntu. You've come during a busy week, lots of ways to jump in and get involved.

This week is a cadence week. Take a look at the wiki page below to give you a better idea on what that means, but basically we'll be testing several packages and the images this week together as a team. We've chosen nautilus, empathy, alsa, and the iso images as part of our testing for this week.

I'm hosting a session Thursday at 1400-1500 UTC on #ubuntu-quality on freenode for cadence testing. We'll all gather on #ubuntu-quality to do our cadence testing and help each other out. Try and participate in the cadence testing -- there's a great tutorial here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/Cadence/Walkthrough. If you wish, I also livestreamed myself doing the tests (video quality is a bit low sadly).

Also, please do check out these pages to get an idea of some of the other things we partiticipcate in and how you might be able to help. You can help contribute testcases as well, and someone with your experience could be very useful in this area.

Finally, I'd encourage you to follow @ubuntutesting, and ubuntuqa on g+ to get plugged into what's going on.

Let us know what we can do to help as you get started. Feel free to reach out on this list or #ubuntu-quality on freenode at any time.

Thanks!

Nicholas
