Hi Warren, please do not be shy of emailing the quality list. No one will ever mock you for asking a question, in fact the best questions get asked on this mailing list.
You state that you have found a new bug for xfce4 power-manager that you do not see as a duplicate. In this case as you have checked, you really should raise a new bug report for it. You have taken the time out to see if any of the other 25 bugs were similar to yours, that is some patience. Get it logged and also, by this email to the ubuntu-quality list which we do implore people to use, you have raised the issues for xcfe4-power-mangement onto the radar for the QA/Testing team to dig a little further into. If anyone finds bugs that affect / are un-loved / have various ways of appearing. Please do mention them on this listing. We cannot solve them, but we can ask about why so many different / similar bugs are being reported against an application. The iso tracker has a good method of reporting bugs, but if you are ever unsure.... please ask! Regards, Phill.
