Chris, the first is a kernel bug.. And it's a regression from precise it
seems. Has the kernel team seen the issue? They would ask you to run
different kernels and perhaps an upstream or mainline kernel to diagnose
where the issue lies. If you can pinpoint when/where it was introduced,
there's a good chance for fixing it.
The wireless bug linked is interesting -- sounds like there is a
workaround. Again if it's straightforward, I'm curious what the
ramifications are for it wanting to use the wrong driver. Is your
hardware reporting the wrong thing? Or is the driver reporting to work
with your hardware when it doesn't? Sometimes it's the case of quirky
hardware where fixing it for you would require breaking it for everyone
else.. I'm not sure if that's the case here.

Nicholas, everyone;
Before I can run through the tests, I have noticed two old problems,
one that has "come back from the dead", one that stubbornly refuses to
be fixed. These are:
Bug #572521 and #732677
I have noted at the tail end of each conversation that the problem is
back (572521) or still present (732677) and added raring to the tags.
Anything else I should do, or do differently?
Thanks!

Christopher, no it shouldn't cause any issues with windows
assuming your dual booting with grub. Is that correct? 13.04 is
doing pretty well for upgrades, but it is a beta and you will be
testing for a reason, so :-) We're here to help if you run into
any issues, and are glad your interested!
Thanks,

I would love to help test the latest version. I am running a dual

should not mess with the windows boot up?

Hi Sergio.
Sure! I think it's a great idea to have a meeting about that
after raring release. :-)
