Hi Scott, I know one the lubuntu-ppc testers was testing kubuntu-ppc. I've cc'd this to lubuntu-qa to ask if anyone can help. The bug seems surmountable and warrants a release note. But, I'm not your release manager :D
@lubuntu PPC testers, lubuntu PPC (desktop and alternate) are now good for release, with the usual release note for dratted 'kernel-restart error'. If you get time, please test ubuntu-server-ppc (to confirm it installs) and kubuntu-dektop-ppc which seems to need the workaround detailed below: > http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2137004&p=12610701#post12610701 > > 'Run ubiquity --debug and the installer will run fine' Regards, Phill.
