Dear Friends,

I've been using Ubuntu since 2008, when I used to use 'Intrepid Ibex' version 8.10. I think that the Ubuntu Community is a great invention. Everyone can share free software! It's the demonstration that when people work together the results are great!! I'm studying PHP, C, Java languages!! I would like to contribute to the community, even if it will be very small one. I hope to learn something from this new experience. I think that in life you never finish to learn!!

Luca, welcome! It's been a bit since Intrepid hasn't it? Glad you are still enjoying ubuntu.

I'm excitied to see you are learning to code. I'd suggest picking up python if you haven't yet. We write our automated tests in python, and many of the tools and other software you find is also in python. It's a handy language to learn in the OSS world, and it's easy to pick up the simple bits.

Do have a look at our roles page, read about what roles you can take on it and have at it.
