Keep in mind that apport's reporting of crahses to launchpad.net is disabled near the end of every release, but crashes are still reported to errors.ubuntu.com. However, you certainly should be able to run 'ubuntu-bug /var/crash/name_of_your_crash.crash'. Did you receive a specific error message? > file attached.
