It's clear to me that even moreso than other hardware-related updates, we need to make sure our stable releases track the cloud platforms on which they run since these platforms are revved outside the control of the end users, and therefore we should minimize the friction caused by the SRU process on these updates. For this reason I don't think per-package SRU exception pages should be required at all. However, since one is written, I have no problem approving it formally.
