I was reviewing an SRU upload the other day where each change in the package did not have a bug corresponding to it in Launchpad and there was one bug which covered multiple issues. This is a lot messier than having one bug per issue being fixed but I wondered why the uploader may have thought this was okay. Looking at the StableReleaseUpdates wiki page I think the "Fixing several bugs in one upload" section[1] is confusing (does it apply to sponsorship?) if not unnecessary.
I'd like to yank out some of the words from that section like "avoid creating meta-bugs ... will generally be invalidated" and put it in either Step 2 of the procedure section or in between Step 2 and Step 3. Additionally, I'd delete the whole "Fixing several bugs in one upload" section. If nobody objects to these changes I'll do it next Tuesday.
