Can you please provide links to the hardware specs of those laptops? Do they use UEFI boot? Android Boot? UBoot? Flashkernel? Do they use secureboot? And did you test that Ubuntu secureboot signed shim works on them? Does Ubuntu Kernel have relevant DTBs built-in? I personally have Yoga C630 and could assist to bring up the Ubuntu Kylin on ARM64, but you will need to come up with acceptance criteria to release the ARM64 image and commit to the QA testing of the ARM64 builds. I made a merge proposal to ubuntu-cdimage to start attempting Ubuntu Desktop builds for ARM64, but so far Martin Wimpress did not comment on it yet https://code.launchpad.net/~xnox/ubuntu-cdimage/aarch64-laptops-upstream/+merge/379256 I am not sure if Ubuntu Desktop is interested in doing at least daily builds of focal (without releasing it).
