There are currently a number of packages in the SRU queue for Focal regarding Ubuntu MATE and that are tracked in LP: #1891891. As far as I know there has never been a point release update of MATE packages and there is not currently an exception for MATE packages. Has this set of updates been discussed with any Ubuntu SRU team members?
