I've replaced ubuntu-devel with ubuntu-release in my reply as that's a better mailing list for reaching the Ubuntu SRU team.

Was the adding of these services discussed with any Ubuntu SRU team member? I don't think the list of source packages approved by the special case should be allowed to expand without some review.
