Bug description:
It is reported that Repeater-Don-t-rely-on-the-createFrom-
variable.patch is the main suspect causing some rare crashes, so it
would be needed to be reverted.
This affects vivid-overlay only, as it was backported from Qt 5.5
series which is already in xenial.
The crashes weren't "detectable" as such, as they were of very random
nature.
