Hi,

This may not be a bug. I found a solution on the web. The fix was to
run the following 4 commands:

sudo apt-get clean
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
I was supposed to see a file to delete at this point but I did not so I
just ran the final command.
sudo apt-get upgrade

After I did this I no longer got the message that updates were waiting.

I think the apt-get clean may have deleted my sources.list. What is the
full path to sources.list?

Also do you think I fixed the problem or just suppressed it?

Thanks,
Paul
