Looking at the terminal log, this is the stage where it went wrong:
Paramétrage de samba-common (2:3.2.3-1ubuntu3.3) ...
Not replacing deleted config file /etc/samba/smb.conf
chmod: ne peut accéder `/etc/samba/smb.conf': Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce
type

The final line, by my inexpert translation:
"chmod: cannot access /etc/samba/smb.conf: No such file or folder exists."

If you purge samba "sudo apt-get purge samba" and then try installing it
again, does it work any better?
