That sounds like a problem with the file system on your local machine rather than a problem with the package. Is /usr really read-only? If it is read-only by policy, you will need to mount it read-write before upgrading packages. If it is read-only due to file system errors, you should investigate possible hardware failure on your system. If it's not read-only, then something even more weird is going on, but probably at the dpkg layer rather than at the level of the krb5 package. -- Russ Allbery ([email protected]) <http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/> -- package libkrb5-dev 1.6.dfsg.4~beta1-3 failed to install/upgrade: failed to delete `/usr/lib/libkrb5support.so.dpkg-tmp': Read-only file system https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/341432 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to krb5 in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list [email protected] Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
