Thanks, Yolanda. I got the following error when running apt-get install packaging-dev: Errors were encountered while processing: samba4 E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)
I then ran apt-file update and got the same error. I went ahead and generated a GPG key anyway. I have been getting that samba error for a while and got an error message, something like "Package installation failed" when running today's updates.
