Public bug reported:

It seems like there is both an upstart config (/etc/init/mysql) and a
systemv initscript (/etc/init.d/mysql) installed in this package. I
guess the correct would be to let /etc/init.d/mysql be a symlink til
/lib/init/upstart-job.

What's worse, "/etc/init.d/mysql stop" doesn't seem to kill the mysql-
process.

What's even worse, at one point we had two mysqld-processes running
after executing "/etc/init.d/mysql start".

I've verified that the upstart config works.

** Affects: mysql-5.5 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
