Hello Jose, or anyone else affected, Accepted open-vm-tools-lts-trusty into precise-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source /open-vm-tools-lts-trusty/2:9.4.0-1280544-5ubuntu6~precise2 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.
