Public bug reported:

This is SRU request for Trusty.

[Impact]

 * ipmi-locate on EFI system does not location the BMC information on
new uefi system.

 * as Trusty LTS is supported OS for different OEM and ipmi-locate is
requirement for MAAS and server certification. So all EFI system
certification is blocker for Trusty so it needs to go in Trusty for
server certification.

 * FE at HP verified after the patch it fixes the issue and
certification can be progress once its available in Trusty LTS.

[Test Case]

 * apt-get install freeipmi
* run command ipmi-locate on Gen9 uefi hardware and there is no return data
about ipmi on uefi system where location of uefi is different than legacy BIOS.

[Regression Potential]

 * we need to run the test on all hardware including the legacy BIOS and
new UEFI system servers. As this code change already working on
dmidecode for all server so we won't see any regression.

** Affects: freeipmi (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
