Hi! I can appreciate the difficult position you've found yourself in,
and if we could help, I think we would. However, third party MySQL
packages aren't exactly supported by Ubuntu.

Your error log shows normal operation:

141006 18:35:13 [Warning] Using unique option prefix myisam-recover instead of
myisam-recover-options is deprecated and will be removed in a future release.
Please use the full name instead.
141006 18:35:13 [Note] Plugin 'FEDERATED' is disabled.
141006 18:35:13 [Note] Plugin 'InnoDB' is disabled.
141006 18:35:13 [Note] Server hostname (bind-address): '127.0.0.1'; port: 3306
141006 18:35:13 [Note]   - '127.0.0.1' resolves to '127.0.0.1';
141006 18:35:13 [Note] Server socket created on IP: '127.0.0.1'.
141006 18:35:14 [Note] Event Scheduler: Loaded 0 events
141006 18:35:14 [Note] /usr/sbin/mysqld: ready for connections.
Version: '5.5.38-0ubuntu0.14.04.1'  socket: '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock'
port: 3306  (Ubuntu)

Anyway, I'd suggest restoring from backups. This is the result of a
third party package, and not a bug in the MySQL packages. So unless you
have more information to share, I'm closing this bug as Invalid.
