While trying to install ipmitool the event daemon hangs. It was sitting
in post configure for over 24 hours.

[DEV] root@x:~# ps -ef | grep apt
root     13558     1  3 Oct15 ?        00:56:40 /usr/bin/apt-get -q -y -o 
DPkg::Options::=--force-confold install ipmitool

cleaned up the processes at this point.

[DEV] root@x:~# sudo dpkg --configure -a
Setting up ipmitool (1.8.13-1ubuntu0.1) ...
 * Starting IPMI event daemon                                                   
                          

(waited 10 mins and gave up)
