Does:
$ sudo mount.cifs //dutier/public Media/tmp/ -o sec=none
work any better ?
What are the permissions on the public shared directory:
$ ls -ld /home/mihai
$ ls -ld /home/mihai/Public
** Changed in: samba (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Incomplete
