The only way to see my iPhone (or any USB device) in the Windows guest is to have it redirected via "Spice", not with libvirt xml capture elements.
Select Redirect USB device in virt-viewer and it just works. I have upgraded to Qemu 2.4, libvirt 1.2.21 and upgraded the qemu machine to "q35" as I tried hard to make it work via xml.
