Thank you for your report. This looks like a local configuration problem, rather than a bug in Ubuntu. Specifically, if you want to switch from a third party source to Ubuntu's official repository, you need to purge all packages from that PPA first. Problems in migrating from third party PPA to Ubuntu's repository can't be treated as bugs in Ubuntu.
