It appears you have deleted:

/etc/apache2/mods-available/php7.0.conf
and
/etc/apache2/mods-available/php7.0.load.

per

modified.conffile..etc.apache2.mods-available.php7.0.conf: [deleted]
modified.conffile..etc.apache2.mods-available.php7.0.load: [deleted]

Without those files, apache will not be able to display PHP files.
Further, it will break upgrades, as those files are contained in the
package and are expected to be present (they are not used unless the
php7.0 module is enabled for Apache).

Can you clarify your configuration?
