Thanks for filing this bug in Ubuntu.

You have a ton of mysql apparmor denied errors in your logs:
(...)
[16858.901214] audit: type=1400 audit(1524008424.023:343): apparmor="DENIED"
operation="open" profile="/usr/sbin/mysqld" name="/sys/devices/system/node/"
pid=2210 comm="mysqld" requested_mask="r" denied_mask="r" fsuid=999 ouid=0
[16858.901306] audit: type=1400 audit(1524008424.023:344): apparmor="DENIED"
operation="open" profile="/usr/sbin/mysqld" name="/proc/2210/status" pid=2210
comm="mysqld" requested_mask="r" denied_mask="r" fsuid=999 ouid=999

Did you create mysql users or groups manually perhaps? In any case, I
suggest to investigate and troubleshoot your mysql installation.
