I have the same problem. "sudo dpkg-reconfigure samba-common" doesn't work and returns the message "/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: samba-common ist kaputt oder nicht komplett installiert" ("/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: samba-common damaged or not installed completely")
Further I executed "sudo winbindd -SF -d 10" and received the following output: winbindd version 3.0.28a started. I later realized the winbind fail message on system boot. -- package winbind 2:3.2.3-1ubuntu3 failed to install/upgrade: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/288496 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Server Team, which is subscribed to samba in ubuntu. -- Ubuntu-server-bugs mailing list Ubuntu-server-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-server-bugs
