Binary package hint: yelp

hi
we find that from ubuntu 8.04 on, ubuntu don't support vlan(802.1), for
example, i have a router and 3 PCs(PC-A,PC-B and PC-C ), PC-A has ip address
192.168.1.1,PC-B and PC-C has the same ip address 192.168.1.2, router is set
having 3 vlan group, group1 has 2 members, port1&4 and both tagged, group2 has
2 members, port2(tagged) and port4(untagged), group3 has
2members,port3(tagged)and port4(untagged), set port1 pvid1, port2 pvid2,port3
pvid3, port4 pvid1,then connect PC-A to port4,PC-B to port2 and PC-C to port3,
if the OS on PC-A support vlan ,when PC-A ping PC-B and PC-C (with vlan
interface), PC-A can get the returns from PC-B and PC-C. if PC-A runs ubuntu
7.10, it works, but from 8.04 on, it dosen't work anymore.
can you fix it on 10.04?
