Installing walrus as a separate component, I end up with
/var/lib/eucalyptus/.ssh being 700 root:root
That makes it unreadable for the eucalyptus user, so authorized_keys is not
usable, so registration fails.
Other components have /var/lib/eucalyptus/.ssh 755 eucalyptus:root
