Thanks for your report.

This error is likely due to no space left on device or a corrupted file system. 
Please check your free space. If there's enough free space,  start the "Memory 
check" from the boot menu. If that runs successfully, please start the rescue 
system in the boot menu and select the "File system check" option in the next 
menu. 
I'm closing this report since it's not a bug with Ubuntu.
