Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: samba
I am running Ubuntu 9.10 64-bit.
Yesterday (3/19/2010) I upgraded the following packages which were recommended
security updates in the Ubuntu Software Center:
Upgraded the following packages:
libsmbclient (2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.4) to 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.5
libwbclient0 (2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.4) to 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.5
samba (2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.4) to 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.5
samba-common (2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.4) to 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.5
samba-common-bin (2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.4) to 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.5
samba-doc (2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.4) to 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.5
smbclient (2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.4) to 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.5
smbfs (2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.4) to 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.5
swat (2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.4) to 2:3.4.0-3ubuntu5.5
When prompted on how to configure the updates I selected "Accept the package
maintainer's configuration". I then received an error report (error code 1).
Despite having received the error report, Samba is still working correctly the
same as before the updates in both directions to and from the Ubuntu computer.
