Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: samba

Description: Ubuntu 9.10
Release: 9.10

Ran Update Manager to install updates. During the install:

1) Got a popup asking if I wanted the new version of smb.conf or keep the old
one.
2) I selected side by side comparison.
3) Didn't see anything glaring and accidentally hit 'Cancel' vs. Forward.
4) Got an error indicating something didn't install and then the same popup.
5) Chose to keep existing smb.conf.
6) Ultimately ended up here.
