It's clearly not the "normal" content. This may be caused by a disk error, 
memory error, system crash, ... 
To recover you can try the following:
- edit the file /var/lib/dpkg/info/winbind.prerm
- add "exit 0" (without the quotes) as 2nd line.
- run:
$ sudo dpkg --purge winbind

You may have offer files corrupted. You should run a disk check and a memory 
check.
I'm closing this report because it is not a bug with Ubuntu or this particular 
package.
