I expect that samba is working like a charme. I updated from 6.06 LTS (old
Server to fresh install on new Server)
You will find detailed german description on
http://forum.ubuntuusers.de/topic/w2k3-als-memberserver-von-samba-als-pdc/#post-2571990
I will give an english one here:
I installed a new 10.04 LTS 64-Bit. WinXP client and Windows 2003 32-Bit Server
were joined succesfully into the domain.
The domainuser can only with WinXP clients into the domain. The W2k3 which is
part of the Domain can not login the domain-users. It can not find the domain.
With my old 6.06 LTS installation this environment was working. I updated
because of some MACintosh issues with the application finder. These issue werde
solved with the new version. unfortunately the w2k3 issue occurs.
